We read the reviews and were expecting it to be worse. We didn’t stay in the rooms but we soaked in the big tub. The guy who runs is it straight forward- not necessarily friendly, but not necessarily rude… expect a warm.. not hot soak in an old mine shack with a gravel bottom. But for 10 bucks you can’t beat it.
$5 for half hour soak. The guy is nice, no nonsense type fella. I will come back again
These reviews are nuts. The owner wasn't rude or anything like that. I knocked on the office, he popped straight out, explained everything quickly, and I went to soak in the large tub in a minute or two tops. The larger tub was perfect for summer heat as it isn't insanely hot but definitely warm and cozy. This was such a a cool experience for $5. Not a bougie establishment and, as some reviews have stated, if you need a white-washed, fancy spa atmosphere go to the dozens of other options. If you want authenticity and not to contribute to the weird Airbnb style takeover and commodification of this cute town, go here!
